CCBF Welcomes Two Summer Law Clerks!

Chicago Community Bond Fund is excited to announce our 2023 summer law clerks who will be supporting the Revolving Fund team for the next few months. Read more about our new hires below!

Ama Amissah (they/them) is a Law Clerk at CCBF for this summer. They attend Loyola University Chicago School of Law and are in their second year. They have interests in both corporate and human rights law, and they are ready and excited to join the team at CCBF. Their passions include candlemaking and advocating for people with intersecting marginalized identities.

Kavisha Prajapati (they/she) is one of CCBF’s Summer Interns. They are currently a second year law student at Loyola University Chicago School of Law. They have previously interned at Saahas for Cause contributing to public health efforts for people in Los Angeles. They are interested in the intersections of injustice and how the law can either amplify or mitigate them.

Originally from Gujarat, India, Kavisha received her BA in Health and Human Sciences with a concentration in social justice from the University of Southern California. In her free time, they write poetry, work on their podcast, and read from a variety of abolitionist writers. Kavisha is very excited to be at CCBF and help break down barriers within our criminal legal system.
