Keisa Reynolds Renews Contract as Transitional Executive Director

Dear Community,

We are pleased to announce that Keisa Reynolds has accepted our offer to continue as CCBF’s Transitional Executive Director through the 2022 calendar year. In Keisa’s time as Transitional ED, they have proven their exceptional leadership through major tragedies and successes, from the loss of our staff member Malik Alim and the effects of the pandemic to the abolition of cash bond in Illinois. Throughout this tumultuous time, Keisa has fearlessly shown intention and care, notably by prioritizing and providing space for staff wellness and restoration. With the Coalition to End Money Bond’s recent victory in passing the Pretrial Fairness Act, our community is considering CCBF’s evolving role in prison abolition. CCBF’s Board of Directors is confident that Keisa is the right person to continue leading the organization in this transformative moment.

Thank you, Keisa, for your leadership thus far. We are inspired by your innovative and thoughtful approach and are excited to see how you help usher CCBF into this new chapter.

On behalf of CCBF Board of Directors:
